another session on a visit to nc... elizabeth and i go way back... we knew each other in high school and it was so great to see her again.

i remember elizabeth being this sweet, genuine gal and that hasn't changed!!  she has a lovely family now, with three handsome sons - andrew, joey, and christopher!!

we had a cold new year's day for our mini session.  so we chose an alley in hopes to block some of the cold wind, even though i don't think it helped very much.

it took a bit for little christopher to warm up to me, as you'll see in the early photos.  but he finally did and we had a GREAT time together!  even got elizabeth and robert cracked up so much at one point we couldn't take a picture!

most of you know i usually have at least one session each time i visit my family in NC.  over the holidays i went to see a great friend that i had not seen since high school and her precious baby girl.

it was so wonderful to see brook again and it was as if we picked up right where we left off.  she’s one of those gals i cheered with in high school that i just have a huge heart for… i’m so happy to see her married to a great man and can see true happiness in her.  that just warms my heart so much.

as you can see little sarah is just beautiful!!  here are a few of my faves from our “at home” session…

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

we prefer to do “at home” sessions with little ones that are younger than 6 mos… especially those that are not walking or sitting up on their own yet.  this makes it so much easier for all of us… the baby is in a comfortable environment, mom & dad have access to anything they might need, and there’s no taking the baby outside while they are still in those delicate first few months.

once a child is up and moving around though… now that’s an adventure we want to capture in our favorite spots around town!

be sure to contact us ahead of time if you are expecting… it is crucial to capture newborns before they are 2 weeks old.  we usually schedule the session according to your due date and can adjust accordingly.

hopefully that answers some questions and inspires you to schedule what can become so of the most precious images in your child’s life!

catching up...

WOW!  i can't believe it has been so long since i posted.  well the good news is we are catching up on lots of things!!!....

updating our website, editing important documents, adjusting pricing (sweeter deals that include more!), and the list just goes on and on!!

so stay tuned... this is gonna be a good year!!!!

chris, kayla, & draven - holiday session - knoxville tn photography

yay another holiday post!!!  :)

this time we have chris (megan's brother i posted about earlier), his lovely lady kayla, and his adorable little draven...

i already told you how we were freezing (in my last post).  it was so cute when draven's nose was turning red... looked kinda like rudolph!  hee hee.

OH!  i almost forgot!... when they were all getting ready to head to knoxville they ran into a little resistance from the parents (who the pics were secretly for!).  that day had brought ice and snow where they lived so chris's parents were not exactly excited about them being on the road, which is completely understandable!  they finally had to tell his dad just so they could escape!
