somewhere in the world, a woman dies of breast cancer every 68 seconds.

most of us know someone that has been touched by breast cancer. so i know the above statistic really hits home. when i came across a way we could do what we love (images) and be able to give to a great cause (breast cancer research) i was thrilled!...

soooooo... yes, we have yet another exciting announcement!!...


{b real photo} is participating in {images for a cure}. on october 11, 2009, many photographers from all over the country will unite our talents to contribute one day of session fees in support of breast cancer research. 100% of all session fees collected on this date will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. we are hopeful, that with your support we will find a cure in our lifetime.




so we're doing things a little different that day in anticipation that several of you will wish to participate! we will be offering 8 sessions - the 30-45 minute "mini sessions" for $50... that's $25 off our regular rate!

appointments are available at the following times: 12:30, 1:15, 2:00, 2:45, 3:30, 4:15, 5:00, and 5:45... first come, first serve! note that the entire $50 will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®!

jacob & holly - clinton tennessee photography

so i'm finally catching up and even starting to get ahead!! i'm so excited... i even organized my file folders!! haha.

so just as i promised... two weeks later... more of my favorites from jacob & holly's session...

so sometimes i ask a couple to do something goofy and they act hesitant to do so, but when i asked jacob & holly to grab booties they went right for it!! it was so funny.





then i asked again, totally as a joke, and they both felt up some booty!! hahahaha. gotta love happily married couples. :)

marie - knoxville area high school senior photography

yesterday we had the chance to photograph marie. she has just begun her senior year at maryville high school.

not only was she the cutest thing i think i've ever seen but she was super sweet. we got some amazing images, but as always i just have to post a couple for you to see!!

hiking with friends - knoxville area photography

so we had some friends come visit for the weekend and we decided to go hiking in Norris Dam State Park.

at first we checked out the dam, enjoyed the views, and learned about it's formation and purpose. we were typical tourists. haha.

















then we headed over to the barn and grist mill...







our original plan was to visit the museum to find out what trails were available but we noticed a 1.2 mile trail so we decided to head out on that lil adventure...



once we got a little deeper into the woods we discovered a whole bunch of trails and decided to take a few turns...





by this point we were feeling like we were still headed away from where we started but i talked everyone into keeping on the trail rather than turning back... and thankfully we were headed in that direction a few minutes later!




all in all our hike ended up being over FIVE MILES!!!! haha. by this point we were starving so we hit up our favorite lil' chinese buffet. it was a great day with friends, a great workout, and a time to enjoy God's creation.

jacob & holly - clinton couples photography

saturday we had a session with our great friends, jacob & holly. they were probably one of the funniest couples we have ever photographed. you could totally tell they had been married for several years because they knew exactly how to make each other laugh. it was great.

we tried an area i had never photographed (since i'm always looking for a new place to add to my list). we used downtown clinton and the images turned out great!! here are just a couple of my favorites... you should see the rest in a week or two!

if i was a rich girl - knoxville commercial photography

so the other day i was driving to work (on my new little shortcut!) when i noticed this little boutique in a shopping center i pass by. so that afternoon on my way home i stopped in to see what they had... and boy was i thrilled with what i found inside!...

everything from unique jewelry, coach bags, dolce & gabbana shades, prada, juicy coutoure... need i go on!!???

this place is full of handbags and accessories. i was fortunate enough to meet the owner, dina, who was bubbling over with personality. one of her vendors, dawn, just so happened to be there at the time delivering more of her jewelry that is apparently in high demand!

after striking up a conversation with these ladies, we decided to do what we could to help each other's businesses... long story short (hehe if you know me you know i say that all the time) i was able to take some images of the store for dina. some of my favorites are below...














i'm tellin ya... good things just keep happening!!
